This 2.89 +/- acre mountaintop property at approx. 6,000 feet does come with some winter planning and is not for the faint of heart. I do not want to concern you as it is all manageable, but I want you to know of the challenges.
If you think you would enjoy the most beautiful winter scenery, a view of snow covered mountains and valleys, then it is worth it to live here in the winter. We personally love the winters as much as the summer.
If you are into winter activities then you are in a place you can snowshoe, sled, cross country ski, and snow mobile, right from your own front door. Naturally this could be used as a seasonal vacation home also.
This property is one mile from the main black topped road that is plowed by the county. The county does not clear the one mile between the house and the main road. The one mile is an excellent hard surfaced wide road.
We are including with the sale a Dodge 1 ton truck with a snow blade. We have used this truck for plowing since the house was built. It has been sufficient to do the job. There are also other property owners that live here in the winter that have tractors with large snow blowers. Together we all keep the road open. If you have a problem, you always have someone that will come to your rescue. Of course, you can pay one of the other property owners to do your share of the plowing or pay one of the local services.
